Oh, how time flies...

When you are trying to keep up with a little one. Well, we survived the first party and I must say it was a success. I do have to give extra "Kudos!" to my wife, Jill, for her awesome planning, and to our dear friends Becky, Tina & Chad, and Jason for helping out with various aspects of the day. Their help was greatly appreciated...

Due to all of the great help and the last bit of energy we had in us last night, I am left with a house today that is in really good shape, and only a few things to do "post-party." In all reality, they should have taken me a matter of a half hour at most, but when you have the tazmanian devil running around the house tearing apart everything, it can prove to take much longer.

It is hard to believe that Brevin's first year has come and gone so quickly. People always told me that they don't stay that little long, but I thought for sure that it would have lasted a little longer. Now, we have officially entered toddlerhood, and oh the joys it will bring. We got Brevin's hair cut a second time on Saturday before the party, and that just helped to eccentuate how quickly he is growing and changing. He looks like such a little boy it is crazy. It is funny how much they can change over the course of a year and how much you don't notice it day in and day out. I really did not think that he had changed all that much, until we threw the DVD's in from his first year, and "WOW!" has he changed.

I would say his first year went great! And we can't wait for the many years to come.
