Here are my mind's very exhausted mutterings:
-I made a complete dork out of myself when I met this woman and screamed that I just found her in the blogosphere that I want her job/house/life. I mean seriously, come on, I have such a great track record when meeting people I am super excited about meeting (See Bono video!) P.S. They are caretakers at a campground. Seriously??? She was gracious in all the questions she answered for me. It made my day.
-I thoroughly enjoyed the session on writing. The presenter had us do a writing exercise. I think the last time I did an exercise like this, it was more about getting it done vs. caring about the quality. My memory that I wrote about that stuck out in my mind is about the summer that my brother (Adam) and I got kicked away from the table every single night because we couldn't stop laughing. This post will probably show up during our September Blogathon. Stay Tuned...
-My favorite session of the day was listening to Heather talk about her authentic voice and how we can achieve that on our blogs. As she read a couple of her posts out loud, it was like she opened me up, looked into my heart and ripped the words right out. I am still processing this one...
-Matt Logelin was the end keynote speaker to end the day. If you haven't heard his story, you should. Be prepared to cry. A lot. What I appreciated about Matt the most was what you see is what you get. He didn't come there and look all pretty, have the perfect speaking outfit or put off an air that tens of thousands read his blog. I was thankful for the dose of realness to end the day.
I had a friend ask me when I walked into church tonight how it was and if it was worth it, if I'd go again. Definitely! Kudos to all that put in many hours to pull all of us crazy MN blogger/writers peeps together.

Well, you pretty much wrote my blog tonight. Can I just link to yours and call it good? :)
I don't remember meeting any dorks on Saturday! I DO remember having a delightful conversation with some lovely ladies that I'm so glad to have met IRL and look forward to getting to know better!
