Well, this has been quite the month for our family! With Rowan 4 weeks old today, another new member added to our family (Auntie Emili) and Heath not only changing jobs, but careers-Spring of 2009 is one for the books!
Rowan-Well, we all knew it, it was said a thousand times by various people during pregnancy, but Rowan is VERY different than Brevin was as a newborn. After a month, we are still trying to figure him out. He seems to have a VERY sensitive tummy which means no milk or ice cream for mommy (we have at least seen that make a small difference). We are trying to figure out what else we can do for him. Brevin continues to be a great big brother, so loving and concerned for Rowan. I love seeing this side of him. I am definitely noticing that we will have to make some very special individual time for him coming up so he is not Rowan overloaded though. :)
The Wedding-Our trip to IL was successful! We had lots of help from The Carstens on the road and the whole weekend, a borrowed mini-van (definitely one in the future for our family-I KNOW I KNOW-SOCCER MOM!!!) from The Obergs and a cleaned house/dinner from The Dyers. How could it not be successful?! Thanks friends! Adam and Emili are now married and headed off to their honeymoon in Belize TODAY! What a fun adventure for them in starting off their marriage. We are praying for them as they travel not only on this trip, but the journey of marriage.
His new position will be overseeing 100+ volunteers at the SLP campus, working with teams on baptism, helping other EBC people find out their spiritual gifts through the GPS class and really focus on leading the lead volunteers. Countless times during this process and since our family has been transitioning I have heard, "Heath was made for this position!" I couldn't agree more. I am so proud of him and excited to see how he grows and develops throughout this new adventure.
Today we had a farewell lunch with Heath's WF team, it was the last time we would be officially visiting daddy down at the BIG BUILDINGS! Since Brev was just a few months old, he has been riding the bus with daddy to emergency child care and over the last 3 years, he has learned the sky way system and THEIR stops along the way.
In order: Jamba Juice, the PEEING BIRD water fountain in Gavidae, the BUMPY stage coach at the WF museum and the BIG stagecoach.

Many congrats to Heath and your entire family! You have been so blessed and that makes me happy for you.
Good luck on the new job and enjoy the time spent trying to figure out that little baby. Before you know it he will be able to let you know what he is thinking. Enjoy this time!!
