Today was just another day, work, Tami's, dinner and play time. Brevin said/did two things today that made this ordinary day not so...
1. We were eating dinner and Brevin was looking at me. It was an intense and very long look.
M: Brev, what are you looking at?
B: You mommy.
M: Why?
B: Because you are special (with a dimply smile).
Ok, my heart became a puddle right there and then.
2. We were playing outside in the sandbox...pretty typical and...
B: Come on mommy, let's go roll down the hill!!!!
M: DO WHAT?
B: Roll down the hill (got up in my face so much I felt his spit) and GO REALLY FAST!!!!
M: Do you know how to roll down the hill?
B: Yes.
M: Who taught you (I did not recall either Heath or I teaching him this)??
B: Josh did (WAY TO GO BABYSITTER JOSH!) and it was SO fun!
This then resulted in Brev guiding me to the hill holding his hand (I originally went to the wrong hill, he had to correct me) so he and daddy could roll down the hill (I opted out, didn't think it would help my stomach). It was HIL-A-RIOUS to watch him giggle, roll down REALLY FAST and then the best was watching him get up and fall several times because he was so dizzy. I was going to get the camera, but sometimes you just gotta capture it in your head instead of missing the moment.
Thanks Brev for a memorable night!

That is super cute!!
I sure hope you are feeling better these days!
He tells you that you're special because you tell him that he's special. We teach our kids to love. So good job Jill and Heath!
