Well-summer has officially arrived after a loooonggg wait (as we didn't have a spring!)...June was quite the month for The Vosbergs. Some closing thoughts to the month are as such:
1. Never have I (Jill) been so wrestling with the family/work balance. I so love my job, but this is the first summer since Kindergarten that I have worked the same job (not worked a summer job) through the summer. It is more of an adjustment than I realized it would be. Plus it doesn't help that Brevin is at the best age yet which makes it hard to want to do anything that doesn't include him. Anybody other parents wrestle with this one?
2. I had a dumb month. A month where sentences don't make sense, I am one step behind everything and I just spaced out a lot more. Heath had his month in May and then mine in June. It has been rough! :) Are we the only ones that have these "special months?"
3. June provided a bit of self/family reflection of re-prioritizing. In Minnesota it is hard to not want to get everything "in" for the summer as we have such little time, but sometimes we tend to overbook. It is just good to be home and do the simple things. It is important to keep things in check and prioritized appropriately!
4. Overall even though it has been "one of those months" it hasn't been that bad. We have enjoyed jumping into our first study with the other 5 couples in small group, exploring our new neighborhood and seeing much of family and friends.
Some highlights for us:

Minnesota Zoo to see the Grizzlies!

It isn't summer without Jamba!!
Nothing beats an evening at the pool!
