1 year ago, rebate checks and scissors!

Hello family and friends! We are here to share with you a Vosberg Victory!

1 year ago, we found ourselves faced with a choice-to sell our house or not to sell our house? We found ourselves pouring money into our house, having a Brevin and probably purchasing some things we didn't quite "need" to put us in thousands of dollars of debt. Selling our house seemed like it was a necessary part to the solution, along with really hammering out our priorities regarding our money. We had a few friends that spoke candidly with us about their similar or not so similar experiences. In the end, we knew that the bondage we were feeling from an immense amount of debt was not how we wanted to live. We sold our house, found a far less expensive place to live and really solidified a giving, spending and debt reduction plan! We knew this was one of the life's HARD to EASY situations. That was 1 year ago!

We are so excited for the current time because all of that hard work of deciding what was best and then getting serious about it has started to pay off. Between the monthly excess since November, our normal tax return, the May rebate and an extra paycheck in May-We have paid off $5000.00 in our credit card debt. FINALLY we feel like a few pounds have been lifted from our shoulders. All of the hard work is starting to pay off!

With that $5000.00 amount, we have completely paid off one credit card and a good portion of another one. We have taken out the scissors to chop up that nasty credit card! What a joyous and cathartic experience!

Thank you for ALL the support many of you have given us through advice, sharing your own struggles and allowing us to share with you what has worked. God is good man, He is so good!
