These are the names we are possibly considering for baby boy #2!! ;) For all of you that voted girl, I was actually quite surprised myself that it was a boy.
Our morning was filled with a trepidatious 2 1/2 year old. Fear is definitely a phase we are in the thick of and apparently mommy going to the doctor is something to be scared of. After Brevin settled down we were able to really enjoy seeing our new babe. All is well except for the same cyst that alarmed us with Brevin exists on this baby's brain as well. It disappeared for Brevin and we are praying it does the same with this baby. Last time, Heath was freaked out and I was the calm one and this time we have swapped. I think the hardest part is waiting until after Christmas to see the next ultra sound. But as I said, all is well otherwise and my quad blood work screening did come back normal. We welcome any prayer. We will definitely keep you posted as we find more out. The tech was very confident of her "findings" regarding the sex, so we had her seal up the envelope so we could open it later as a family and have our moment (that doesn't come with 36 hours of labor). We went to our family favorite place: Jamba Juice (which by the way took FOREVER...of ALL days!). We opened and sifted through the pictures until we got to the one that said "BOY!" with a big circle around the...well you know...:) My jaw dropped, I was speechless and then started crying (hello! 2nd trimester, cut me some slack!). Brevin was excited to think about having a baby brother. Heath had the biggest grin on his face. We look at it as a HUGE financial blessing as I am pretty sure our Target run would have been a little more than we could have handled had it been a girl.

On that note, we have spent the day reminding ourselves about every 10 minutes that we have another boy in our family. It was great to set the 1st ultra sound pictures next to Brevin's...their profile is identical. WOW! What fun we are in for. :)

Yeah!!! So fun! Definately praying!
I love the "family time" idea. What a great way to find out. All together in a nice calm peaceful environment.
Best of luck to you!!
Congradulations!!! We are so happy for you and your family. We will keep you in our prayers for a healthy baby boy... I check out your blogg at least once a week, you have so much going on in your lives, which is great. Love your extended family in Sunny California (Kevin and Susan)
Yea! So excited for you guys! Matt and I voted on the sex and of course who won! We will be praying - we are praying the same for our baby as well. It is a lot more common than I thought. Hopefully no worries as long as everything else looks good. Hope to see you all soon.
I can't believe how much the ultrasound picture resembles Brevins, is this little guy going to look like his grandma too? We are looking forward to a bouncing baby boy!
CONGRATULATIONS! We are so excited for you..! There are definitely benefits to having children of the same gender. Can't wait to see you and catch up. It feels like FOREVER! You (and Buford) are in our prayers. Blessings!
